Getting here

Visa

Most visitors need an India e-Visa, applied for online with no embassy visit. Use only the official government portal, a couple of weeks ahead. Need a Letter of Invitation? Email us and we'll sort it for confirmed ticket holders.

Getting around

Ride hailing (Uber, Ola) and prepaid taxis are easy and cheap, both at the airport and around the city.

Extend your trip

The Bitmela India Journey.

Stay a few more days. After the festival, join fellow attendees on a guided journey through Rajasthan and the Golden Triangle.

3 DAYS · JAIPUR → AGRA → DELHI / JAIPUR
Route and pacing tentative and still being finalised
01

Jaipur, at your own pace

Morning is open, on purpose — recovery time after two festival days, not a gap to fill. Amber Fort in the afternoon, then the city however you like: City Palace, the bazaars, as much ground as you want to cover. Dinner together in the evening.

02

On to Agra

A travel day, not a wasted one. Check in, then Agra Fort in the afternoon. Evening is unstructured — a group dinner is on offer, nothing is mandatory.

03

The Taj at sunrise, then the split

The Taj Mahal at first light, before the crowds — the trip's one unmissable moment, and the last one the full group shares. After breakfast, the group splits by flight: Delhi for international departures, Jaipur (JAI) for domestic. Delhi-bound attendees get a day-use room and dinner before their flight.

Know before you go

The practical stuff.

Money

Visiting from outside India? UPI apps need an Indian bank account, so lean on cards and cash. Handy for markets and tips either way.

Stay connected

Grab an eSIM before you fly, or a local SIM on arrival. Venue Wi-Fi provided.

What to pack

Light layers for warm days and cool evenings, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, and a universal adapter (230V, plug types C/D/M).

Food & water

If you're visiting from outside India, stick to bottled or filtered water. Vegetarian options are everywhere, and Rajasthani food alone is worth the trip.

Etiquette

Modest dress at temples and forts (shoulders and knees covered); shoes off at religious sites.

Safety

Jaipur is an easy, welcoming city to get around, day or night. India's emergency number is 112.

How do I get to Jaipur?

Jaipur (JAI) is closest, about 30 minutes from the venue. Long haul travellers can route through Delhi (DEL), then take a short hop to Jaipur. Coming from within India, Jaipur Junction sits on the main rail line from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad, and it's about 5 to 6 hours by road from Delhi.

Do I need a visa?

Indian citizens don't need one. Everyone else needs an India e-Visa. Apply online through the official government portal, a couple of weeks ahead.

Is the India Journey included in my ticket?

No, it's a separate add on. Register your interest above and we'll share the full itinerary and pricing when it's confirmed.

When should I arrive?

Arrive October 29 to settle in before day one on October 30.
